how about last year?
How about last year? If something can be said, the status quo continues. No real progress has been made in the fight against climate change, the specter of violence only continues, the rich get richer, while the masses continue to move desperately in the hope that things will change, but they will never. Yes, people in 2019 cannot tell many of us that it was a very good year.
When we call this new year, humanity is at a critical point. Presidential elections will arrive soon. Many hopes and dreams are delayed. However, if you look back every new year, that optimism will only be missed halfway. They say times are changing. Yes, they are to a certain extent. For countless millions of people, even though this is only one year where nothing has really changed. The possibility that things will change in 2020 is not very good. For most of the world, their days are filled with calm courage in their struggle for survival. The striking contrast of another day in heaven for some of the millions of people whose voices have never been heard is truly amazing. Oh! we may see their faces, but too often they are just forgotten souls as we usually see them.
When we think of this year's time, the materialism of our society blinds us too much. Community and communication for everyone has been replaced. Replaced by the changing times that drive what Charles Dickens delivered for Christmas. The characteristics that make up the Christmas season when this community, compassion and kindness bring the best of us are lost.
Today, the spirit of this season has dried up on the many opportunities lost due to too many false ideologies. And as we have seen in the history of the oligarchy that exists today, it only creates a common injustice throughout the world. Where there is injustice, we see tragedies and tragedies today. Maybe looking back on 2020, you can say that it was a very good year. On the other hand, in my pessimistic view, they tend to say that it was only one year in which the status quo only continued human suffering. The choice is in our hands. And I hope we can make 2020 a good year
